Even though Activision are trying their best in keeping the lid shut for their popular Call of Duty Franchise, that doesn't stop the leaking of information.
Following the latest leak about Call of Duty 2020 taking place in the Cold War, now it appears that the logo for the new game is leaked online through the PlayStation Store. This years Call of Duty will be named Black Ops, and it will be a "gritty reboot of the Black Ops series" that started way back a decade ago in 2010.
Looks like they are taking the same steps as Modern Warfare which turned out to be one of the most popular Call of Duty game released since Black Ops 2. This leak is most likely to be true due to Activision actively claiming copyrights on most of the leaks images of the logo.
Our opinion on this
We actually believe that this game will take place during the Cold War era, and due to the success of Modern Warfare, and the teasers officially released in the Warzone Map. Activision may just try to repeat this with the Black Ops series instead of making Black Ops 5.
Black Ops is also turning 10 this year, so it would be a nice anniversary game. So we think it will be Call of Duty Black Ops, with the same characters but different story.
If you look closely at the leaked image, some of the documents in the background reveal a little bit of information about mind control, hence the return of Zombies? Who knows? All we know is that we are all excited about this in that maybe we will see a teaser for the game during the PlayStation 5 event later this week. We also believe that this game will be released on both current-gen and next-gen console, minus the Nintendo Switch.
So, what do you all think about the new logo?
